We all know there’s no absolute definition of beauty, and what’s inside is much more important than outside looks. But we also know that when we’re happy with our appearance, it gives our self-confidence a massive boost and we have a much more positive outlook on life. Some of us have little imperfections that make us feel self-conscious that we would like to have fixed and nose reshaping is one of these.
For clients who are reluctant to go under the surgeon’s knife, the Skin to Love Clinic offers non-surgical rhinoplasty at our Hertfordshire clinic which is also called a non-surgical nose job, for people who do not want or require a dramatic correction but would like to make their nose appear straighter or more symmetrical.
This procedure does have limitations in comparison to the surgical alternative but can be an effective nose reshaping treatment for some people with a lump or bumps on the nose bridge. It is also perfect at correcting an asymmetrically shaped nose to give a more balanced profile without the need for invasive surgery.
With advanced techniques, our medical practitioners reshape the nose by injecting dermal fillers through microfine needles and fill in any small depressions to help soften the shape of the nose and make it look more refined.
It’s a virtually pain-free procedure and most patients only report slight uncomfort in the form of the sensation of pressure, rather than pain. However, we apply a local anaesthetic cream prior to treatment to make it as comfortable as we can for you. Results are instantly visible and whilst it is not a permanent treatment and not a replacement for having a surgical nose job, the effects can last up to 18 months. There is very little downtime too, with mainly some swelling and redness in the area that has been treated and this usually calms down within 48 hours.
This treatment uses an advanced filler technique and it does require a lot of knowledge and experience to make sure you’re in safe hands, as with all dermal fillers, it does have associated side effects. Make sure that your practitioner is a registered medical practitioner prior to treatment, after all, your safety is more important than anything else.
Prior to treatment at Skin to Love, you’ll have a full consultation with our medical practitioner who will assess how your nose presents and decide if this will be a suitable treatment for you and make sure that you have all of the information you need. If they feel that you would be more suitable for surgical treatment, they will discuss this with you.
