We were absolutely thrilled to learn that Jane has been announced as one of the finalists of the UK-wide Best Business Women Awards in the Health & Wellness category.
Jane set up the clinic just three years ago as a way of providing cosmetic solutions to dermatological problems as well as non-surgical aesthetic treatments.
She says: “Aesthetics isn’t about vanity, it’s about helping people feel good about themselves. There are many skin conditions which really knock people’s self-confidence, e.g. acne scars, rosacea, pigmentation etc, and my reason for opening The Skin to Love Clinic was to help those people.”
Award-winning customer service and excellent results lie at the heart of the Clinic’s philosophy, and Jane is determined that every patient will get a good result, no matter what. She said: “My patients are at the centre of everything we do. I refuse to let anyone down.”
In fact, her reputation for providing Harley Street-quality service at St Albans prices has attracted patients from far and wide, many from London, and some from other parts of the UK, Spain and even the Middle East. Judges were impressed with Jane’s attitude towards quality of treatment, patient care and her equal focus on results and customer service has gained her many happy clients. “After a course of treatment for her acne scars, a patient recently told me she was so happy with the result, she no longer feels the need to wear heavy make-up all the time. It’s this kind of life-changing difference which really motivates me.”
Debbie Gilbert, organiser of The Best Business Women Awards, said ‘This is a tough competition judged by business experts. To be a finalist is a major achievement. Finalists have been selected for their business acumen, determination, creativity and tenacity. Over 80% of start-ups fail in the first 3 years and all our finalists are all shining examples of being successful entrepreneurs who have proved their success to our judges.’ The gala final of The Best Business Women Awards will be held on 20 October 2016 at Tewin Bury Farm. Fingers crossed!
