If you’re getting married this summer, you’ll be busy organising everything for your dream wedding. You’ve probably already got everything booked – the venue, catering, DJ, entertainment, flowers, dresses, suits, hair and makeup… the list seems endless!
But what about you? On a day when you’re going to be the centre of attention, and the subject of gazillions of photos, you’re going to want to look your best. If you have any problems you particularly want to focus on, you may well need weeks or possibly months for any treatment to take effect. For instance, if you would like to deal with stubborn areas of fat, it usually takes at least six weeks before you’ll start to see significant results from treatment, so the sooner you begin, the better.
Here is a summary of the main treatments many of our clients have in the run-up to their wedding.
Acne – Patients who suffer from severe acne are usually self-conscious about their condition. Many avoid social situations anyway, so the thought of being the centre of attention on their wedding day can cause anxiety. Whilst the specific treatments for acne vary from patient to patient, we have seen significant improvements in our patients’ skin with the range of therapies we offer. One patient, Barbara, was so pleased with her results after receiving treatment from us, she wrote a blog about her experience – click here to read it.
Acne scars and general scarring – Many people who suffered from severe acne when they were younger have been left with scarring which they can be self-conscious about. Some people have other types of scarring from historical injuries. In such cases, we use Fraxel® laser technology as it helps improve the appearance of scarring and makes the tone of the skin more even.
Stubborn fat – We all have those little areas of fat we’d rather not have, but sometimes it doesn’t matter how much we diet or exercise, it just won’t go away. We use non-invasive technology that targets those areas, safely killing off the fat cells which are then expelled naturally by the body.
Laser hair removal – Excess hair is a problem for both women and men, and laser hair removal is one of our most popular treatments. We use Soprano ICE, a clinically proven method of laser hair removal which can be used on all hair and skin types and, unlike other treatments, can even be used on tanned skin (in case you’ve had a sneaky pre-wedding beach holiday!).
