At The Skin to Love Clinic you start your journey with an in-depth consultation with an experienced, knowledgeable medical practitioner. This is purely an educational session for you and, for some treatments, it is a legal requirement. During your initial consultation, we’ll ask you to complete a thorough medical questionnaire so that your practitioner can discuss the most appropriate treatment options with you, whilst keeping your safety in the forefront of their mind.
Once you have given your practitioner a detailed understanding of your concern, background and they’ve assessed you, you’ll discuss all of the treatment options with your practitioner. If your practitioner feels that we are unable to help you, for any reason, we care enough to let you know and not waste your time or money (please read more about us for further information). We want you to fully understand the treatment options available to you before making any decision about how, and if, you treat your skin and body. In some cases, your practitioner may be required to take a Visia skin-analysis scan which allows them to assess the layers of your skin which may not be completely visible to the naked eye, such as pigmentation on the deeper levels of your skin. This will give your practitioner further guidance about how you should be treated.
At The Skin to Love Clinic, we only invest in clinically-proven treatments that we would use on ourselves and our family. During this initial appointment and the rest of your time with us, you will not be ‘sold to’ or be pressurised into having a treatment that you do not want or need. We pride ourselves on our impartial, honest advice from practitioners who are willing to share their years of knowledge and experience in medicine and the specialism of aesthetics and dermatology. The team want you to be educated and feel confident in any choice you make.
