Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty a.k.a The Non Surgical Nose Job
The effect is achieved by performing a series of small injections of dermal filler into the nose in the area of concern. The non-surgical rhinoplasty can help to soften sharp angles of the nose and fill depressions.
At The Skin to Love Clinic, some of our patients decide to go ahead with this treatment option who are considering having surgical rhinoplasty and would like to see what the potential result may look like without having the irreversible consequences and some patients have decided against surgery and choose to have the non-surgical nose job treatment.
Indications that this treatment may be right for you:
- Have indentations on your nose or have an asymmetric nose.
- Would like to improve the appearance of bumps on the nose.
- Would like to augment the bridge of the nose.
- Would like to see how it can change the shape of your nose.
Will Non Surgical Rhinoplasty be a replacement for me having a surgical nose job?
No. The results you can achieve with non-surgical is usually never the same as surgical treatment. The results of non-surgical rhinoplasty will gradually wear off, whereas surgical treatments tend to be permanent.
Some patients will not be suitable for non-surgical rhinoplasty depending on what they’re hoping to achieve and how their nose presents.
Can I reduce the size of my nose with non surgical rhinoplasty?
No, this treatment will only be suitable to smooth and soften imperfections such as bumps or asymmetry.
There’s a celebrity I would like to look similar to. Can this be done with Non Surgical Rhinoplasty?
No, we would not attempt to do this because each person is totally different and unique; your bone structure and features are completely unique to you. We want to make you look the best that you can look and make the most of your one-of-a-kind features, not try to imitate another person. It’s unlikely you would be satisfied with your results if this was attempted.
Are Dermal fillers used for Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?
Temporary fillers have a good safety profile. It is very rare to get serious complications. At The Skin to Love Clinic you will only ever be treated by a medical professional with extensive experience and the skills to handle complications.
Hypothetically, if the fillers were misplaced or a patient was not happy with the placement of the product it could be dissolved quickly by injecting a safe, enzyme-based product into the area.
Following treatment we check-in with you to ensure that you are recovering well and we encourage you to immediately contact us should you be concerned about any aspect of your treatment or recovery.
Are there side effects to Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?
Temporary fillers have a good safety profile. Swelling and bruising are the most common potential side effects immediately following treatment. At The Skin to Love Clinic, you will only ever be treated by a medical professional with extensive experience and the skills to handle complications.
Looking for Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty near you? Our clinic in St Albans offers Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty consultations. Consultations are an important part of the treatment process in allowing you to understand the treatment and to establish if the benefits of the treatment are outweighed by any possible side effects. During a consultation, your characteristics, such as your area of concern and your medical status, will be assessed. Your medical practitioner will be able to discuss whether this treatment is appropriate for you, as well as any suitable alternative treatments.
Your practitioner will discuss any possible side effects, questions you may have and any aftercare you should adhere to prior to you having treatment.
If I don’t have the treatment again, will I look worse than I did before?
No. The product will gradually wear off and you will reverse to how you looked prior to the treatment.
How long do the fillers last?
This can vary depending on where you have the treatment and the product used. Products designed to be placed superficially and treatment in areas where there is a lot of movement, such as wrinkles the mouth, fillers usually last between 3 and 12 months. In cases where the product used is thicker and used to create deep volume, such as in the cheeks, the treatment results usually last 6 to 18 months.
Your lifestyle and metabolic rate usually influence the longevity of your results. For example, in our experience, those who smoke or frequently do cardio work-outs can break-down the filler faster than those who do not.
Does Non Surgical Rhinoplasty hurt?
The level of discomfort is usually found to be mild and tolerable by patients. The dermal fillers used at The Skin to Love Clinic contain local anaesthetic which greatly improves your comfort. We understand that each person’s tolerance to pain is different however and are happy to offer our patients additional local anaesthetic cream prior to the procedure should this be a concern of yours.
“Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and I am so pleased with the results! Thank you so much” Hannah
“I was happy with the way Jane looked at the shape of my overall nose before adding filler to the parts that are uneven; rather than just asking me where I wanted it filled. I had had filler in my nose by someone else but am much happier with the results I have from Jane; my nose looks much more even.” Bernadette
“5 stars!” Jane
“I saw Jane for a non-surgical rhinoplasty, which was a fantastic result. She was completely professional throughout, she took a very considered approach, and made me feel at ease through the pre-checks and procedure. Jane navigated some tricky scar tissue on the bump on my nose, from a childhood break. She expertly filled above the bump, leaving no ridge and softening the bump. It looks completely natural, I’m incredibly happy with the result. Very little downtime and I didn’t need a top upon review. I highly recommend Jane and her approach, which is the best I’ve experienced (I’ve been to a number of very well known and reputable clinics).” Kate
