Suitable for both males and females, this non-invasive radiofrequency therapy is customised to address your specific concerns of ageing on your eyes, neck, face and body. Thermage® triggers your skin to regenerate your collagen deep within and actually stimulates the production of new collagen in the treated area which makes it a great skin tightening treatment without needing any surgery.
Designed as a single treatment, this non-surgical skin tightening option fits easily into your routine as there is no downtime; perfect if you can’t schedule a lot of time away from work or social life.
Comfort Pulse Technology™ (CPT) has revolutionised the comfort of the Thermage treatment; this treatment uses the ‘gate control theory’ of how we perceive discomfort. This theory shows that the brain suppresses any discomfort it would usually sense if it’s distracted by another sensation. In this case, Thermage® uses gentle vibrations combined with cooling bursts to offer you a very comfortable treatment.
Indications that Thermage® may be right for you:
- You’ve noticed your eyelids becoming more hooded than they once were; this is often noticed when trying to apply eye makeup.
- You have lines and wrinkles around your eyes.
- Your upper and lower eyelids have become crepey.
- You are noticing sagging, loose skin in your jowl area.
- You are noticing that your jawline is less defined.
- The skin on your neck is becoming loose and crepey, often referred to as ‘turkey neck’.
- You have crepey, sagging skin on your face and body.
- You are noticing fine lines and wrinkles.

Thermage Treatment FAQs
I have ageing skin on my eyelids, can Thermage treat this?
Yes, this treatment is the first and only system that has FDA clearance for energy-based, non-invasive treatment on the eyelids.
What does the treatment feel like?
Your practitioner will cool your skin with the device and then you will feel a brief but deep sensation of warmth where the device touches your skin, followed by a soothing, cooling sensation. You may also notice a very gentle vibration on your skin which further enhances your comfort.
Your practitioner will ask you for your feedback throughout your Thermage treatment to ensure your comfort.
Why would I choose Thermage CPT over surgery?
Thermage is not a replacement for surgery. It is a safe and effective solution for those who do not want or need the dramatic results of surgery. The results from Thermage CPT are gradual and subtler.
Thermage offers you a treatment option that involves no injections, is non-surgical skin tightening and the ability to resume your usual activities immediately.
Will Skin Tightening help with my ‘mummy tummy’?
We very often treat ladies who have had children and are now finding that the skin on their abdomen is loose and crepey.
Thermage can help to tighten and smooth the skin and, although it is not specifically designed to improve stretch marks, patients often feel their stretch marks are less problematic because of the overall improvement in the texture of their skin. Moreover, Thermage CPT can be used alongside treatments specifically designed to soften the appearance of stretch marks.
Why does it take up to six months to see results?
For most patients, it can take approximately two to six months to see your full results, although many patients do report seeing positive changes before this.
Thermage Comfort Pulse Technology works on the deep layers of your skin to enable longer-lasting results than other more superficial procedures. During the months following your Thermage treatment, your body’s collagen-building and remodelling process will be active, gradually producing your results. These results can last years depending on your body’s ageing process and your skin condition.
Are there any side effects?
Thermage has a great safety profile and at The Skin to Love Clinic we are able to draw upon a huge wealth of expertise and experience as one of our practitioners is the trainer to other medical practitioners using this device in the UK and Europe.
Consultations are an important part of the treatment process in allowing you to understand the treatment and to establish if the benefits of the treatment are outweighed by any possible side effects. During a consultation, your concerns will be assessed. Your medical practitioner will be able to discuss whether this treatment is appropriate for you, as well as any suitable alternative treatments.
Your practitioner will discuss any possible side effects, questions you may have and any aftercare you should adhere to prior to you having treatment.
