Clients come to our skin clinic for multiple reasons. As a CQC-registered clinic we can safely, and effectively, treat multiple dermatological concerns as well as aesthetic concerns, such as anti-ageing treatments. To help you quickly identify if your concern is something we can help you with and some of the treatment options for that concern, I’ll break our treatments down by the condition they treat in alphabetical order.
This is not an exhaustive list, but it discusses many of the skin concerns we consult about and treat every day.
Acne Treatments
We offer clinically proven acne treatments that the NHS cannot currently offer; these allow you to treat acne without medication. If you are on certain medications already, you may be able to use these treatments alongside them, or you can have our treatments as standalone acne treatments.
Acne Scar Treatment
Acne scar or acne scarring is an umbrella term for a number of different types of scars that are the result of having acne. If you have acne scarring, you may have more than one type of scar in the area; different types of scars respond better to different treatments, so it may be that you require treatment for dark marks that have been left behind after the spots and if you have, for example, ice pick scars you would need a different type of treatment to improve them.
This is a very common complaint, especially in those of us with Rosacea; broken veins on the face are symptoms of the disease. Rosacea treatment is for the symptoms only as currently there is no cure for Rosacea; this is not to say that you cannot manage the symptoms well.
Broken veins can also be noticed after trauma to the skin, as a result of sun damage, and other lifestyle factors.
These are the rosacea treatments we use to treat facial broken veins:
Regenlite laser
Byonik (this is more for background redness that often accompanies broken veins)
Veinwave
This is a vascular skin lesion that appears like a red dot or bumps on the skin and frequently appears during hormonal changes, such as pregnancy. Some people are prone to vascular lesions such as Cherry Angiomas.
We use treatment to shut down the blood supply to these benign lesions to remove them, with the below skin treatments:
Regenlite laser
Veinwave
Fat Removal
You can contour your body and remove stubborn pockets of fat on the face and body with non-surgical fat removal treatments. Here are the permanent fat removal treatments we offer:
Fat-dissolving injections. We use Deso fat-dissolving to treat double chins on the face, and fat on the body.
Fat freezing with Cristal. Cristal causes the death of the treated fat cells to permanently remove them.
Liposonix fat removal uses HIFU technology to destroy fat cells.
Emsculpt Neo. This treatment not only reduces fat but also tones your muscle using HIFEM and radio frequency technology.
Laser Hair Removal
We offer a way to greatly reduce or remove unwanted hair. Laser hair removal can be had anywhere on the body and is extremely popular on the face and body with females the suffer from hormonal imbalances such as PCOS.
Laser hair removal is also very popular on the underarms, bikini area, and legs of ladies. Men often have hair removal on the neck, or areas of the face that they dislike shaving and/or get shaving rashes on. The shoulders, back, chest and bottom are also popular with our male clients.

Melasma
Melasma is a hormonally induced form of hyperpigmentation which mainly affects women. Melasma treatment enables you to manage the symptoms, however, there is, unfortunately, no cure for melasma.
It is very important to treat melasma cautiously because some melasma treatment runs the risk of making the symptoms worse, such as some laser treatment. We choose to treat our melasma clients with Obagi Nu-Derm as not only does it deliver results, but it also doesn’t run the same risks as laser treatment for melasma:

When it comes to choosing anti-ageing treatments, our clients have said that it’s like being a kid in a sweet shop when it comes to our skin clinic because we have a vast suite of skin treatments; in fact, this year we won the Leading Non-Surgical Skin Treatment Provider-Hertfordshire, for our carefully selected, premium, industry-leading skin treatments.
During a consultation, we will discuss what you want to achieve and the most suited treatments for you.
Mole Checks
As a CQC-registered dermatology clinic, we have qualified and experienced staff who are able to assess moles and remove them if necessary or desired for cosmetic reasons. Clients often comment on what great peace of mind they have following a mole check. In the unlikely event that our medical practitioner feels a skin lesion is suspicious we have the ability to safely remove the lesion in our CQC-registered skin clinic and send it immediately away for histology.

The non-surgical rhinoplasty treatment uses dermal filler to temporarily correct some lumps, bumps and symmetry of your nose. This is an advanced dermal filler technique and should be performed by an experienced medical practitioner:

At our skin clinic, we treat hyperpigmentation with several treatments. Hypopigmentation can appear in the form of freckles, age spots, sun spots, or a general uneven pigmentation. Hyperpigmentation often appears on areas of the body that have the most exposure to the sun; face, neck, decolletage, hands and the head if there is little hair to protect the skin.
Please note that if you are looking for treatment for melasma hyperpigmentation, please see the melasma category.
Sagging Skin
Much like lines and wrinkles, we have many treatments to treat sagging and loose skin on the eyes, face and body at our skin tightening clinic in Hertfordshire.
The skin treatments we offer for sagging skin are powerful and offer long-lasting results.

Stretch marks treatment allows you to soften and improve the appearance of stretch marks, often to the point that you are no longer bothered by them. One client of ours comes to mind whenever I talk about stretch marks treatment; she said that the was so happy with the improvement of her abdomen stretch marks that she was going around lifting her top and showing her friends and family!
This is one of the major things that happen to us as we age. The fat pads on the body, noticeably the face and hands, shrink and, in some places, drop. This natural occurrence results in jowls, loss of definition around the jawline, flatter cheeks, hollows around the temples and under the eyes, and bony-looking hands.
We can temporarily replace this lost volume with dermal fillers. At our skin clinic, we use high-quality dermal fillers that are made of synthetic hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found naturally within the body that is critical in maintaining skin hydration. Skin hydration = plump, healthy-looking skin.
With dermal filler treatment, we can restore and redefine cheeks, lips, under-eye hollows, temple dips, jawlines, and ageing hands.
Kerri Lewis, manager of our Hertfordshire skin clinic adds: “We are really proud to be able to offer our clients so many treatment options, as well as the skills, experience, and knowledge our practitioners have. We have a lot of choices when it comes to most skin concerns or conditions, so we always start with a consultation to allow you to understand your skin and treatment options better before you make a choice.”
