Oh, my goodness, it’s everywhere, isn’t it? The HydraFacial hype doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, even after all these years. It’s so popular, in fact, that one of them is performed every 56 seconds
Why is it so beloved? Surely, it’s just a facial?
Well, no. HydraFacial isn’t just a facial.
The immediate glow that HydraFacial treatments offer is just one of the reasons why this skin treatment has a CULT following amongst celebrities and us mere mortals alike… and why it’s asked for by name. It’s a results-driven skin treatment.
It’s often been cited as one of the best ways to achieve the ‘glass skin’ or ‘glazed skin’ look that everyone wants; we’re referring to beautiful, healthy-looking skin that has such a glow-a dewiness-that it looks almost reflective which, let’s be honest, we would all like.
So, if you’re researching what the hype is all about, there’s a few things we think you should know…
How Hydrafacial Works
HydraFacial is a treatment device which uses a combination of technology and skincare ingredients to give you ‘the best skin of your life’.
There is a basic HydraFacial treatment protocol which has three steps:
- Cleanse: your skin is deeply cleansed and gently exfoliated to uncover a beautiful new layer of skin.
- Extract: Gentle suction removes debris from your pores.
- Hydrate: Your skin is saturated with powerful moisturizers and personalized ingredients.
In many skin clinics you can purchase add on extras to further personalize your treatment such as lymphatic sculpting and LED therapy.
At our Hertfordshire HydraFacial clinic, we’ve taken the headache out of choosing by including these upgrades, so all you must do is decide between two types of HydraFacial treatments.
Here, at Skin to Love, your Deluxe HydraFacial will include the above 3 standard steps plus:
-Lymphatic sculpting and contouring with gentle lymphatic drainage
-Personalised improvements with LED therapy matched to your unique goals, from targeting wrinkles through to addressing mild acne.
You can further upgrade to our Premium HydraFacial which includes all the above upgrades plus the inclusion of a personalised skincare booster serum with ingredients purposely chosen to help you achieve the specific improvements you wish to make.
Our HydraFacial specialist, Nikki, adds: “With our Platinum HydraFacial, all the upgrades come as standard, I think that’s why it’s our most popular protocol with clients coming back time and time again for those glowing results.”
Which Hydrafacial Is the Best?
HydraFacial is a branded treatment device. There’s only one HydraFacial. However, you’d be forgiven for questioning this as there are fakes and copycats out there riding on the back of the real HydraFacial technology, ingredients, training, marketing, and RESULTS.
You’ll have to have your wits about you though! Some of the names sound suspiciously like HydraFacial just to add a little extra spice to your quest for the real deal and the beautiful skin that goes with it. There’re even some places that say they have the real treatment when it’s not the legit treatment device. Yep, highly questionable.
As a very rough guide, at the time of publishing, a HydraFacial UK is about £135 to £245. Our prices sit in the lower to middle end of that range. Price should give you an immediate indication of legitimacy but it’s not always that clear cut so my…
PRO TIP: is to find your provider through HydraFacial’s website to find a verified HydraFacial near you; they have a handy ‘find a provider’ section.
You’ll find us there.
Hydrafacial Before and After: Are Hydrafacial Results Immediate?
Yes, you have an immediate result following the HydraFacial treatment however, as with most skincare treatments, your skin will become improved in quality and appearance the more consistent you are with having your treatments. If you are wishing to improve a particular aspect of your skin, for example, dryness or wrinkles, and have included a HydraFacial booster to target this then you may notice some immediate results-if you do woohoo! but it’ll probably take multiple treatments to start generating those specific noteworthy results.
